We are Powerful Women Rising, LLC (“PWR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and we appreciate your trust and participation in our services. In order to provide you with the best service possible, we collect certain personal information from you. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines how we use this collected personal information.

By continuing use of the Powerful Women Rising website, content, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”), or by sharing your information with us, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.

A. Sources.

We collect information from the following sources:

Registration Information. When you sign up for a Powerful Women Rising Community Membership (Basic or Rockstar), you will provide us with certain information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and payment information.

Communications. If you choose to contact us directly, we will receive any information you provide us in these communications. For security purposes, we may monitor and/or record the content of phone calls made to us.

User-Provided Content. Users will have the opportunity to voluntarily provide certain information as part of their use of the Services, such as and reviews of our products.

Cookies and Similar Technologies. These technologies collect aggregate user data regarding your use of and activity on the Services. Your web browser and/or your device may have certain settings that limit our use of cookies. Please note that if you delete or choose not to accept cookies from us, that may affect the features we are able to provide to you.

The information we collect is used:

To provide the service or product you have requested, including by enabling billing and shipping of products ordered through our site or through any third-party marketplaces where our products are listed, if any;
To provide you with information regarding your order of our products;
To provide you with customer service and respond to your communications with us;
To communicate with you regarding specials, new products or services, or changes to this Policy, unless you have opted out of such communications;
To maintain the safety and security of our Services and users;
To personalize our Services to meet your needs;
To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or law enforcement requests;

For systems administration and troubleshooting purposes.

Please note that any information you submit to us as part of a review for our Services may be viewable by the public.

Your information may also be shared with our vendors, partners, or other third parties outside of our organization for the following purposes:

To provide our services to you (e.g., sharing your payment information with a credit card processor for billing purposes);
To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or law enforcement requests;
To exercise, establish, or defend our legal rights;

We may share any category of information we collect with third parties for the above purposes. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We are the sole owners of the information we collect.

3. Your Access to and Control Over Your Information

Ask us to confirm if we are processing your information.
Review what information we have collected about you, if any.
Ask us to change or correct any information we have about you.
Ask us to restrict how we are using your information (e.g., requesting to opt out of future communications).

Express any concerns you may have about our use of your information.

You may also opt out of any future communications from us at any time by using the “unsubscribe” button within our emails.

4. How We Protect Your Information

We take a range of security measures designed to protect your personal information, including by maintaining appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, such as the encryption of data submitted to us. However, the Internet is by its nature not a secure environment, and we cannot fully eliminate all security risks associated with you sharing your personal information. As such, we do not warrant or guarantee the security of any data or information you transmit to us. We encourage you to always be careful when sharing your information online.

5. Your California Privacy Rights

California law permits our customers who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of their personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose users’ personal information with unaffiliated third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. Do Not Track

California law permits our customers who are California residents to be informed as to how we respond to Web browser “Do-Not-Track” settings. As “Do-Not-Track” is a standard that is currently being developed, we do not take actions to respond to “Do-Not-Track” settings or similar mechanisms at this time. Instead, we adhere to the standards set out in this Privacy Policy.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed towards children, and we do not knowingly or intentionally collect any personal information from children. If you are under the age of 18, you may not submit any personal information to us. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a user who is under the age of 18, we will delete that information. If you discover that a child under the age of 18 has submitted personal information to us, please notify us immediately at melissa@powerfulwomenrising.com.

7. Links to Other Sites

While using the Services we provide to you, you may find links to other websites. These sites may be operated by third party organizations, who are not affiliated with us. Please be aware that we have no control over these third-party sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. You may choose to not access these third-party websites. We encourage you to read any privacy notices or policies that may apply to any site with whom you choose to share your information.

8. Changes to This Policy

This Policy may be changed from time to time. If we make any material changes to this Policy, we will highlight those changes within the new Policy. The date the Policy was last revised will always be posted at the top of the Policy.
